With over nine years of experience across adult health and wellbeing, substance misuse, homelessness, and other key areas of social disparity, Nicky brings a unique blend of frontline expertise, strategic insight, and leadership. He has a strong background in talent management, peer support, and coaching, and has collaborated with trauma-informed professionals to deliver impactful, art-based therapeutic workshops. These workshops support individuals in leading fuller lives, strengthening community connections, and developing healthier coping strategies.

Nicky is known for his person-centred, co-productive approach, working to empower individuals and help them reclaim autonomy in their lives. His work consistently centres empathy, dignity, inclusion, and recovery.

In leadership and organisational development, Nicky has a proven track record of growing the reach and impact of charities. He is skilled at translating strategic vision into practical application, while ensuring that both staff and service users are supported to thrive. His leadership style is collaborative, values-driven, and outcome-focused.

Nicky’s experience spans the criminal justice sector, where he has managed multidisciplinary teams, coordinated complex case management processes, delivered training to probation officers and court professionals, and developed partnerships across statutory and voluntary services. He has led peer support programmes, co-produced service improvements with people with lived experience, and contributed to policy and funding bids centred on social inclusion and rehabilitation.

He is a confident communicator, able to engage effectively with individuals and organisations at all levels — including Ministers and other government representatives. Nicky has represented organisations at high-profile events, in the media, and in public speaking engagements, and also has experience in event production.
