We’re delighted to welcome guest speaker Anna Kalmar to our upcoming Neurodivergence Forum, where she’ll share insights from her doctoral research exploring conflict and repair in ADHD–non-ADHD relationships. Drawing on a hermeneutic phenomenological approach inspired by Max van Manen, Anna will invite us into a thoughtful exploration of how midlife women with ADHD experience relational challenges, emotional intensity, and moments of reconnection with neurotypical partners.
Grounded in both research and clinical practice, the session will open up conversation around common relational dynamics, including misattunement, emotional reactivity, and repair, encouraging reflection on how we as practitioners can better understand, support, and make sense of conflict within neurodivergent relationships.
This will be a reflective and discussion-led space, designed to spark curiosity, shared learning, and meaningful dialogue.
