Dee brings a powerful combination of lived experience, professional expertise, and a deep commitment to inclusive, person-centred care. Coming from a background in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Corporate Technology Recruitment, she developed a strong foundation in advocacy, strengths-based practice, and effective communication. This experience led her to transition into the Drug and Alcohol sector as an Employment Coach, where she supported people in recovery from addiction backgrounds, mental health challenges, dual diagnosis, neurodivergence, and other associated ongoing health conditions to build confidence, develop practical skills, and access meaningful employment in a peer-led way.
In her current role as a Case Manager, Dee is deeply passionate about supporting individuals with complex needs through compassionate, trauma-informed care. A strong and authentic communicator, she builds trust through empathy, collaboration, and clarity. Inspired by her own recovery journey, Dee brings lived-experience insight alongside professional expertise, working calmly and effectively under pressure. Through peer-led approaches, she empowers individuals to achieve sustainable change, stability, and long-term wellbeing.
